Privacy policy

SeeThePoints is built to work without collecting personal data. This page explains exactly what happens when you use the extension and this website.

The extension

• Flight details: on supported flight search sites, the extension reads the flights shown on the page (airports, airlines, cabin and price) to work out points estimates. This happens entirely in your browser and is never sent to us.
• Settings: your choices (card markets, sites, appearance) are saved in your browser's extension storage. If you're signed in to Chrome or Edge, your browser may sync them between your devices.
• Award chart data: the extension may download updated award chart data from seethepoints.com. This request doesn't include anything about you or your searches.
• Pro licence key: when you activate Pro, your licence key and a random ID for your browser are sent to seethepoints.com to check the key is valid. Nothing else is sent.
• We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind, and we don't sell or share data.

Buying Pro

Payments are handled by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record through Stripe Managed Payments. Stripe collects your name, email and payment details to process the order, under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email and order details, and we store your email with your licence key so we can provide support, resend lost keys and process refunds.

This website

The website doesn't use cookies or analytics. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security for a short time.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@seethepoints.com. Uninstalling the extension removes its settings from your browser.
